September 29 @ 6:43 pm
Savage tribes clash with brutal clans on the Nexus of Chaos in a campaign based league at Tabletop Game and Hobby.
Join us Friday nights, September 6th – October 4th and Saturday, October 12th. Choose your faction and make war in this fast-paced, bloodthirsty tactical skirmish game.
The purpose of this league is to create a Warcry community and jumpstart campaigns for each player.
Bring your own warband, as well as any extra dice or components that you prefer. Note: I will make a plug for Dalton‘s trays at this point.
TableTop will supply dice, tokens, and terrain. You’ll be using both a tournament and campaign roster sheet for the league which we will provide. The first six weeks of play will incorporate the first three missions of the warband roster sheet. Battles will be set up according to tournament battle plan tables seen on page 74 through 77.
Starting the league, each player will assemble a 1000 point war band that they own. We will not be using the death roll on the injury chart. Each player will also receive a warband roster and a tournament roster to fill out (also possibly numbered stickers for their warband divisions, hammer, dagger, shield.) They will choose a campaign setting appropriate to their faction in the book. They will gain one destiny level for their leader.
Play in the league games will be held Friday night at 6:30 PM. If you miss a game you have one week to make it up. Give your GM, Josh Koops, a call if you need a makeup game.
Points will be accumulated according to tournament rules which will affect the final day of the league. The final day is a Saturday, a three-game tournament where the winners will walk away with prizes and glory!
Entry fee: $15
September 6 – $15 entry due on arrival, players will assemble warbands, receive rosters, separate warbands into dagger/hammer/shield and play their first round.
September 13 – Dagger/hammer/shield mulligan opportunity after the second game. Additionally, after the second game, we will determine opponents for next week. The loser of the September 13 game gets to play their convergence first on September 20.
September 20 – First convergence will be played in an escalation game format. Players converging get one extra wild dice on the first round only. If they win, the victory conditions allow them to roll a D3 command trait out of the book and a D66 lesser artifact from the book.
September 27 – Second convergence escalation week. Whoever did not play their convergence the week before does so on this week and gets one extra wild die in the first round only. On victory, they roll a D3 command trait and a D66 lesser artifact from the book.
October 4 – If a player has not yet converged, this is their week to do it. If not, we will just be playing random fun games, maybe some multiplayer stuff.
Saturday, October 12 10:30 – Meet at TableTop and play three-game rounds to determine the first, second, and third place winners. We will also have the best painted prize and the best sportsman prize.
